Why Partner With Us

Built for Importers Who Cannot Afford Surprises

We have shipped surgical instruments from Sialkot since 2005. What our partners value most is not only the steel — it is the predictability of documentation, packaging and delivery.

Verified Material Traceability

Every batch is linked to a mill certificate for the steel heat lot. Hardness (HRC), corrosion and finish checks are recorded per lot and released with your shipment.

True OEM Capability

Fiber laser branding, catalogue numbering, custom patterns from your drawing or sample, and retail-ready packaging — all produced under one roof, not brokered out.

Export Documentation Done Right

Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, declaration of conformity and lot lists prepared to your customs broker's format — FOB, CIF or DDP.

Factory-Direct Cost Structure

You buy from the workshop, not a trading desk. Tiered pricing by reference volume, with tooling amortised transparently on bespoke projects.

Audited Quality System

ISO 13485:2016 QMS with documented CAPA, incoming inspection and final AQL sampling. Third-party and customer audits are welcome at our Sialkot facility.

One Engineer, One Contact

A named export executive plus a production engineer handle your account, so specification questions are answered by the people who actually make the instrument.

Custom Manufacturing

Your Brand, Our Workshop

From a single pattern modification to a full private-label catalogue, our OEM programme is designed for distributors who need their own identity on a clinically reliable instrument.

  • Laser branding & catalogue numbering — logo, REF, LOT, material code and CE symbol, passivated after marking.
  • Dimensional customisation — working length, tip geometry, jaw serration, curvature and handle ergonomics.
  • Packaging & kitting — blister, pouch, tray-mounted sets, IFU insertion and barcode/UDI labelling.
  • Sampling before scale-up — pre-production samples within 10–15 working days from approved drawings.
One-Stop Workflow

From Drawing to Container

A transparent five-stage route that keeps your launch calendar realistic.

  • 01Specification review — drawing, sample or competitor reference assessed by our engineering team.
  • 02Quotation with tooling, MOQ and lead-time breakdown, plus material options.
  • 03Pre-production sample, dimensional report and finish approval.
  • 04Series production under ISO 13485 controls with in-process inspection.
  • 05Final AQL inspection, branded packing and export documentation release.
Manufacturing Experience

How a SalarSurgicals Instrument Is Made

Sialkot's instrument industry is more than a century old. Our value is combining that hand-finishing tradition with measurable, repeatable process control.

1. Forging & Machining

Closed-die forging in martensitic stainless steel, followed by CNC milling of joints and box locks so that jaw alignment stays inside 0.05 mm tolerance.

2. Heat Treatment

Vacuum hardening and tempering to pattern-specific hardness — typically 48–54 HRC for cutting edges — verified by Rockwell testing on every batch.

3. Hand Fitting

Master craftsmen set tension, ratchet engagement and tip closure by hand; a step that machine-only production still cannot replicate for fine instruments.

4. Passivation

Ultrasonic cleaning followed by nitric or citric acid passivation to rebuild the chromium oxide layer and resist pitting during repeated autoclaving.

5. Inspection & Marking

Functional test, magnification surface check, laser marking of REF and LOT, then final AQL sampling against the agreed acceptance plan.

6. Packing & Release

Corrosion-protected individual packing, carton labelling to your SKU scheme, and a release file containing certificates and lot traceability.

Buyer FAQ

Sourcing Questions, Answered Directly

The five questions our export desk receives most often from first-time importers of surgical instruments.

Standard catalogue references start at 50 pieces per item. Fully bespoke instruments that require new forging dies or tooling are usually quoted from 100–250 pieces per reference, so that tooling cost per unit remains commercially viable for your market.

Cutting and holding instruments are produced in German-standard martensitic stainless steels (AISI 410, 420, 420B). Retractors, trays and non-cutting parts use austenitic AISI 304 or 316L. Titanium Grade 5 is available for micro instruments and non-stick bipolar forceps. Mill certificates for each heat lot are supplied on request.

Yes. Our facility operates an ISO 13485:2016 certified quality management system, reusable instrument families are CE marked under the applicable EU regulation, and our establishment holds US FDA registration. Technical files, declarations of conformity and traceability records are shared with appointed distributors under NDA.

Repeat catalogue orders generally ship in 15–25 working days. A first OEM run with laser branding and custom packaging takes 30–45 working days after sample approval. We quote FOB Karachi, CIF and DDP, and ship by air courier, air freight or sea freight with complete export documentation.

Absolutely. Customer audits at our Defence Road facility in Sialkot are welcome by appointment, and we routinely host third-party pre-shipment inspections (SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV or your own agent) against an agreed AQL plan and specification sheet.
